Sarah Cracknell (born April 12th 1967 in Chelmsford, Essex) is an English pop singer and the lead vocalist of the pop group St Etienne, known for her light, smooth singing voice. Her father is a film Director (Stanley Kubrick’s first assistant director Derek Cracknell) and her mother is an actress.
