I know a lady in Benfleet, Joyce Long, who got an MBE from the Queen for doing second hand shops for charity.  She made loads of money for Southend Hospital Units.  Great Job!

I was born in Essex and no-matter how many places I have travelled to, abroad and in UK, I know this is my home.  Essex guys have a good sense of humour, a sexy accent, and are a laugh, we have great shops and lot’s to do at night.  I love Essex clubs, pubs and entertainment.  I went round the World trying to find something better, only to find this out that it’s my home, and since going on a dating site, have now found my true love – an Essex man who is gorgeous.  My moral is, home is where the heart is – you don’t have to look far.
