Although the Orangutans are only inhabitants of Borneo and Sumatra in South East Asia, they are found around the World in Zoos, animal rescue centres and many other places they should not be – such as being kept as pets, or as props for photographers looking to make quick cash with tourists. It is a very sad journey for many, but there are happy stories too. This section looks at the Orangutan’s being kept in many different scenarios around the World…
